Keep the creative tradition going and participate in this year’s NOSCBWI Calendar Contest!
Create up to two illustrations for any month(s) and submit them to Sophie Cayless, Illustrator Coordinator, by September 17, 2013. (Submissions accepted by email only this year).
Conference attendees will vote for their favorite images beginning later on Friday, and the winning illustrations will be announced on Saturday.
Everyone will be able to order a calendar at the conference, to be shipped to your home. The winning illustrators receive a FREE calendar. And, we will send main conference speakers a free calendar.NEW this year: the winning illustrators’ brief contact info/website on the calendar back. A great way to promote your work! Also, we will be awarding a $50 gift certificate for art supplies to the illustrator whose entry receives the most votes!
Please follow these guidelines:
*entrants must be SCBWI members (September 20, 2013)
*if e-mailing, send as a low to medium res jpg (high-res or original will be needed later)
*landscape orientation, 8 1/2 x 11"
*children's illustration
*very soft subtle colors DO NOT reproduce well
